Fall is in the air, and that means it’s time for pumpkin patches, friendly ghosts, and making memories with your little ones! We’ve found Indy’s spookiest, most engaging and accessible family events happening this October. Here’s our list:

  • Headless Horseman at Conner Prairie (October 2-26): Experience the legend of Sleepy Hollow on a hayride adventure. This classic event has been updated with new surprises, an enhanced midway, and a fire art performance. It’s a immersive way to enjoy a spooky (but not too scary) story.
  • Waterman’s Family Farm Fall Festival (September 27 – November 2): You don’t have to leave the city for classic farm fun! Enjoy hayrides, a giant corn maze, pumpkin picking, and farm animals right here in Indianapolis .
  • Historic Irvington Halloween Festival (October 18-25): A beloved 79-year tradition! This week-long event includes a run, a costume ball, ghost tours, live theater, and more. It culminates on October 25 with a massive street fair, over 120 vendors, live music, and a costume parade .

We hope this gives you some inspiration for a fun-filled October!

Warmly,

Your Stringtown Now Neighbors
